My Sister Sandie Gets Married to Bruce
My sister Sandie married Bruce Odle on June 14, 2008. They got married in a posh Presidental Suite at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion in Portland, Oregon. They invited their close friends and immediate family. Congratulations Sandie & Bruce, we wish you a wonderful life together.
Sandie was walked out by her son's Carter (on her right) and Travis (on her left.)

Mother of the bride helping her get ready for her special day.
She made a beautiful bride!
I asked Avery if she wanted to be a bride someday and she said, "I hope that you and Dad aren't dead when I get married." Said like a true 7-year-old.
My stunning niece Alyssa who just graduated from West Linn HS and will be going to U of O next year, "Go Ducks!"

Lester
Whenever we go back to Hillsboro I always make it a point to hook up with my old pal Lester. He is taking some clown classes and always enjoys riding the frogs in my parents backyard.
He loves climbing and playing in my parents apple trees. He wanted me to tell my friend Leslie hello. He hasn't seen her forever. Actually it was about 4 years ago when she & Mark came down and he spied on them from the closet in my old bedroom.

Charles Edward Havarti (aka Chuck E. Cheese)
Paxton asked earlier this week if he could have a couple of his buddies over for a sleepover. His friends Garrett and Keaton were able to come over. Marty thought that it would be a good idea if we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for some pizza, pop and good times. Avery invited Keaton's younger sister Reese along for the fun. Reese only had one stipulation which was not to get near or in the vicinity of Chuck himself. He gives her "the creeps." Hmmmmmmm, me too!
Paxton and Keaton on the virtual rollercoaster.

Afterwards the boys came back and enjoyed the tub.

The New Bremerton Marina
My mommy and daddy.
The grand opening of the new Bremerton Marina was this past weekend. It is very nice! There were some very impressive boats that sailed in for the festivities. My parents were up visiting this weekeind, here is a shot from behind from left to right, Gampy Arnie, Gammy Shirley, Avery (way up front) Paxton and Marty.
