Museum of Glass
MOG
Inside the Museum of Glass. This is where we got to watch the artists blow glass. They were making various scultpures and glass "rubber" ducks. It was very toasty warm in there.
The girl in the green was blowing the glass through this long metal pipe of sorts.

Cousin Sydney Visits!!!
Grams and Papa (Marty's parents) brought up our niece Sydney for a visit over Spring Break. She lives in Las Vegas and flew into Portland to start her two week break. During her vacation she was able to come up to Bremerton and will be going on to visit the cousins (Brenna and Audra) in Portland. She will then go to the beach house in Rockaway Beach on the Oregon Coast with Grams and Papa for several days until she returns to Vegas. The kids spent the first day playing outside and around the house. We later took them to Evergreen Park for them to play.
Crazy little monkey kids.

American Pie
My sister Sandie and her friend Bruce came to Bremerton for a quick visit. We had a great dinner, once again, at Badda Boom Badda Bings. We later came back to our house for a little Karaoke.
One microphone, two DIVAS.

Eating corn-on-the-cob through a picket fence
Avery has been working her top tooth loose for a couple of weeks now. Just last night she finally worked it free. This morning she got $5.oo from the Tooth Fairy. She was reminded that she may have gotten $10.00, but since she still sucks her thumb, her tooth is not quite up to the Tooth Fairy standards and thus, not worth as much. She went to bed with a sock on her hand and she is really going to give it her best effort so that she can get $10.00 for the other top tooth.
Ever since Avery was about 9 months old, our good friend Shawn Perkins has always said that Avery could eat corn on the cob through a picket fence, I still don't get it...???

Mamma Mia
Marty and I took my mommy to see Mamma Mia at the Paramount Theater in Seattle for her birthday. We had a wonderful time. We took the ferry over and started out at McCormick & Schmick's http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com/ We had the best calamari ever known to man. We then walked onward to the Paramount. The day was gorgeous, reaching 60 degrees in the month of March! We all enjoyed the musical so very much and recommend it if you ever have the chance to see it.
A quick sip at intermission.

Marty even ran into Dwight Shrute on the Seattle waterfront.

A Night of Three Wins
Paxton and the rest of the Blue and Gold kids had a wrestling meet against the Key Peninsula kids. This was his last dual meet of the season. He did amazing. He had two pins in his first two matches and on his third match of the night he won 10-zip! We are very proud of you Paxton.

A night in Seattle
The evening started at one of our favorite places to eat P.F. Chang's. We enjoyed the lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef and double pan fried noodles. We also got to see the famous, Ciscoe, of "Gardening with Ciscoe" who was dining there as well. I wanted to ask for some pointers on my flower beds, but decided to respect his privacy. http://www.ciscoe.com/
We had awesome tickets to the Seattle Sonic/Portland Trailblazer game at Key Arena. The Blazers didn't do so hot.
The kids outside the Key.
We did get to make a speedy quick stop at Sephora. Avery and I got to pick out a couple of treats (lipstick of course.)
